Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable festival experience, and to positively impact the music industry. All of this, however, is not possible unless we create an environment that is safe and welcoming to all.

While on location at Roel Langerakpark, you’ll find floor angels walking around. You can also at any time reach out to our team leads and security personnel. We want to emphasize that nobody is allowed to occupy a space, mind, or body that has not been mutually agreed upon.

At Network, we believe in:

  • A dance floor for all
  • A place to feel comfortable and free
  • Exploring a curiosity for music, art and culture

A safer dancefloor is a collective effort. Help us create an environment free from harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and sexism. Network does not endorse or condone the use of illegal substances.

Social & collective responsibility

By entering our grounds, you agree to work towards the collective goal of creating safe(r) dancefloors for everyone. We strive for a festival experience in which we all, the visitors and organization keep each other accountable for our words and actions. We do not condone any form of verbal or physical harassment.

Harassment can be defined as words or actions that can come across as intimidating, confrontational or abusive to another person. Keep in mind that what someone else considered harassment may not be considered harassment by you.

Consent culture

We are committed to enabling consent culture throughout Network Festival. Consent is about respecting a person’s decisions and autonomy of their own body. It is obtained when the other party says an enthusiastic and conscious “Yes”, not when someone doesn’t say “No”. Consent is a mutual and ongoing dialogue, and can be withdrawn at any stage.

Responsible and safe celebration

We have the freedom to make our own decisions as adults. We therefore expect our visitors to be conscious and responsible when entering our festival grounds. An amazing festival starts with taking the necessary precautions. When in doubt, less is always more.

Keep in mind that only you should have the say over what goes into your body; peer pressure is challenging to overcome. Additionally, don’t forget to regularly check up on your friends & other people around you. Make sure to drink enough water, but not too much – about 1 glass water per hour. Not feeling well? Please keep in mind that our awareness team and first aid is always here to help you, our visitor.
